PASTOR VICTOR ROWSELL
1956 – 2021
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Pastor Victor Rowsell announce his passing at the Dr. Hugh Twomey Health Centre in Botwood, NL on August 12, 2021 at the age of 65. Pastor Rowsell was a member of Evangel Pentecostal Church. He began ministry in 1980, and retired in 2019 and pastored in many churches around Newfoundland including Trepassey, North Harbour, Cottlesville, Carbonear, Norman’s Cove, Birchy Bay, and Baytona.
Left with fond and loving memories are his wife, Colleen Rowsell; parents, Andrew and Mildred Rowsell; sons, Victor J. Rowsell (Andrea Rowsell) of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL and Gregory Rowsell (Tara Rowsell) of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL; and daughters, Merissa Norman (Richard Norman) of Fort McMurray, AB and Megan Canning (Robert Canning) of Gander, NL.
Also leaving to mourn are his seven grandchildren, Peyton, Hailey, Colby, Faith, Elise, Owen, and Zackary; parents-in-law, Allan and Gleason Chippett; siblings, Donna Peddle (Harry Peddle), Susan Regular (Myrl Regular), Jerry Rowsell (Hilda Rowsell), Violet Organ (Wade Organ), Roslyn Brown (Brian Brown), Eleanor Pelley, Jimmy Rowsell (Kimi Rowsell), Mildred Ralph (Dawson Ralph), and Jennifer Freake (Mike Freake); brothers-in-law, Fabian Chippett (Eileen), Sheldon Chippett (Nola), Daryl Chippett (Valerie), and Steve Chippett (Vickie); and a large circle of friends and family.
Pastor Marvin Burton will conduct the funeral service from Evangel Pentecostal Church in Grand Falls-Windsor, NL on Sunday, August 15, 2021 at 2:30 p.m. with interment to follow at the Interfaith Cemetery. Pallbearers are Richard Norman (son-in-law), Jerry Rowsell (brother), Jimmy Rowsell (brother), Wade Organ (brother-in-law), Darryl Chippett (brother-in-law), and Steve Chippett (brother-in-law).
