Verna Mae Green
1934-2021
At the Queen Elizabeth Hospital with family by her side on
Friday, Aug. 27, 2021 of Verna Mae Green (nee Sanderson) of Cornwall,
age 86. Survived by her children Dianne (Bill) Dowling, Allan Green
(Michelle), Beverley (Darren) Taylor and Nancy Green (Eric Carnell); 8
grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Predeceased by her parents Franklin and Alberta (nee Clark)
Sanderson; daughter Pauline Carmody; sister Marjorie (Ira) MacLean;
and the father of her children Wendell Green.
Verna’s wake will be held at the Hennessey
Cutcliffe Funeral Home on Monday, August 30 from 7 – 9 p.m. With
COVID-19 restrictions in place, visitation will be in cohorts of 50 at
a time.
The funeral service will be held on Tuesday in the funeral
home chapel (by invitation only). Interment to follow in Hampshire
Cemetery.

Stroke Foundation or the PEI Humane Society.
