Vanessa MacKenzie
1975 – 2021
Vanessa MacKenzie, a fun loving, gentle, family oriented, explorer, cook, sport loving, boy band obsessed, Eeyore lover and avid bowler died peacefully in her home on December 9, 2021.
Beloved daughter of John and Patricia Mackenzie, sister to Jason (Tammy) and Trevor (Tiffany) and proud aunt to Duncan (Sydney), Hailey and Brooke, will live on through our memories.
Vanessa had a huge heart. So big in fact that there are no words that can express how big she loved. Her immediate family and many aunts, uncles and cousins were her world. She cherished each and every one. Vanessa was also a dedicated Tim Hortons employee, proud to be part of her “Tim’s family” for almost 25 years.
A great mind for research, statistics, dates and detailed recollection of memories. Vanessa was our family historian. A gift to not only herself but her loved ones.
We will miss you Vanessa, daughter, sister, Dea, niece, auntie, friend. You will forever be in our hearts. Your infectious laugh and bright smile will never be forgotten.

A visitation will be held Saturday, December 18, 5-9pm and Sunday as well as December 19, 10-11am followed by a service at 11am at The Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lakeshore Blvd. W. Toronto, Ontario, M8V 1K3, 416 259 3705. Messages of Condolence may be placed at www.RidleyFuneralHome.com.
A celebration of life will take place on Sunday, December 19 from 12 Noon to 4:00 pm at The Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 643, 110 Jutland Road, Toronto, Ontario, M8Z 2H1 (416) 231-2021.
