Valerie Patricia “Patty” Ann Hardy
1972-2021
The death occurred peacefully, in the presence of her family,
at Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 of
Patty Hardy of Ellerslie aged 48, beloved wife of David Hardy. Patty
was born in London, Ontario, cherished daughter of Theo and Debora
(Dobson) Moore.
Loving mom to Cody (Janna), Katie, Kent (Vickie), Matt and
Manning (Andrea). Grammy to Alice and Eli. Dear sister to
Laura DeGrande and Rhonda DeGrande. Daughter in law of
Leslie and Shirley Hardy. Sister in law to Allan (Sally)
Hardy, Wendell (Sandra) Hardy, Janet (Jeff) Callaghan, Sandra (Glen),
Karen (Kent) Noye, Krista (Bobby) Bulger and Gordon (Tanya) Hardy.
Patty will also be sadly missed by her uncles and aunts, Sharon
LeNeve, Norman Dobson, Shelton (Eileen) Hardy, Joan (Tommy) Blackett,
Jean (Billy) Oliver, Donna (Ronnie) MacPhee, Gwenda (Leonard) Doyle,
her great aunt Wanda Matthews and numerous nieces and
nephews.
Patty was predeceased by her daughter Laura and aunt
Carol.
Resting at Ferguson Tyne Valley Funeral Chapel. Due to Covid
19 restrictions, private family visiting hours and funeral service.
Interment to follow in the Freeland Presbyterian Church
Cemetery.
In memory of Patty, memorials can be sent directly to
Canadian Cancer Society (PEI) or Canadian Red Cross would be
appreciatted.
