Trudy Pickering 19512021

Trudy Pickering
1951-2021
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Trudy (Treen)
Pickering announce her passing on July 28th,
2021 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Born on July
31st, 1951, in Truro, Nova Scotia, she was the
daughter of the late Cyril and Jessie Treen.
She enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, paperback novels (not on a
computer), crossword puzzles, knitting, gardening and cooking. Horses
were her favorite and volunteering at the Fredericton Therapeutic
Riding Association was her passion. Trudy loved spending time with her
family and friends, always willing to do whatever others
wanted.
Trudy will be lovingly missed by her sisters Vicki Treen and
Tanya Treen-Monks (T.K.), brother Donald Treen (Melinda), nieces
Adrienne, Raina and Jessie, nephews Derek, Nathaniel (Godson) and
Damon.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her sister
Wendy (Treen) Andrews and her 3 beloved cats Rebecca, Captain and
Liam.
The family would like to extend special thanks to Dr. Schaus,
the ICU and Palliative Care unit of the Dr Everett Chalmers Hospital
for the care and respect they extended to Trudy over the past 4
months.
At her request, a private celebration will take place at
Oromocto Funeral Home. Donations in her memory may be made to the
Fredericton Therapeutic Riding Association.
