With great sadness the family of Troy Mont O’Donnell of McNamee, NB announce his sudden passing which occurred on January 11, 2021 at home. Born on August 2, 1969 in Fredericton, NB, he was a son of Marion (Sutherland) O’Donnell and the late Mont O’Donnell. Troy grew up on the Miramichi River, enjoyed kayaking and was an avid sports fan, especially hockey, baseball and football. Troy was a labourer and carpenter who enjoyed building many things for his family and friends.
In addition to his mother, Troy is survived by his siblings, Debbie Estey (Calvin) of Fredericton, Andrea Campbell (Roger) of MacLaggan Bridge, Bedford O’Donnell of McNamee, Vaughan O’Donnell (Raymonde) of Lincoln; special sister-in-law, Theresa O’Donnell of Doaktown; special nieces, nephews, aunts, uncle; cousin and close friends; and his canine companion, Turbo.
Besides his father, Troy was predeceased by his brother, Gary O’Donnell.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the loving care of York Funeral Home’s Miramichi Valley Chapel. Due to current COVID restrictions, a Private Celebration of Troy’s Life will be held from York Funeral Home’s Miramichi Valley Chapel on Friday, June 4, 2021 at 2 pm. A recording of this service will be available on this page following the service. Interment will take place in St. John’s Anglican Cemetery, Carroll’s Crossing. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to Chalmers Foundation (Dialysis Unit), Canadian Diabetes Society. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
