It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Mr. Trevor McCoy surrounded by his family in Red Deer, Alberta on Sunday, October 10, 2021 at the age of 54 years. Trevor was born in Fredericton. New Brunswick on September 29, 1967. He was the final addition to his parents, Leroy and Mildred McCoy and he brought much pride to his sister, Wanda McCoy. Trevor was known for the adoration and love he had for his High School sweetheart, Bonnie McCoy. Together they built a strong family, filled with love and laughter. Trevor was a loyal and devoted husband, father and grandfather. Trevor was proud of his family and their unique bond. Outside of his family, Trevor lived for the road, whether in his truck or on his Harley-Davidson. He was a man of adventure and who also enjoyed a great laugh, family gatherings and sharing his gift of cooking. Helping others made him happy. Trevor was a man of faith who loved God. He valued his connection with everyone he met along his journey. His loved ones will always remember his hearty laugh and welcoming hugs. He will be lovingly remembered by his loving wife of thirty-two wonderful years, Bonnie McCoy, his son Jacob (Rachelle) of Fredericton, New Brunswick, daughter Jessica (Jordan) McCoy of Fredericton, New Brunswick, mother Mildred McCoy of Fredericton, New Brunswick and his grand-daughter Eleanor McCoy, his sister Wanda Anderson (Lori) of Nasonworth, New Brunswick. He was predeceased by his loving father, Leroy McCoy. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Home Church in Red Deer, Alberta on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at 3:00p.m. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.

Trevor was such an amazing man and a great husband, father and grandfather who deeply adored his family. His hearty laugh and quick wit always made everyone’s day a little brighter. We’ll smile every time we think of him, or hear his name. He was one of a kind.
