Tracy Ann Carrigan – 45, Truro, passed away September 5,
2021, at home, as a result of a heart attack. Born in Truro,
she was the daughter of the late Christine Urquhart.
Tracy worked as a caregiver at Townsview Estates, Truro, for
several years. She loved elderly people and her cat, Magoo. She
enjoyed spending time at the cottage in Brule with her family and
friends, and enjoyed doing flooring. Tracy had a special place and a
big heart for nephew, Trevor.
She is survived by her sister, Brenda Carrigan, Pictou;
nephew, Trevor (Emma Henderson), Truro Heights; step-father, Ron
Urquhart, Masstown; step siblings, aunts, uncles and
cousins.
Visitation will take place on Monday evening, September 13,
2021, from 6-8 pm, in Mattatall – Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young
Street, Truro. A family burial will be held at a later date in Robie
Street Cemetery, Truro. Donations in memory may be made to
the Activities Department of Townsview Estates, Truro. Private
