HOGAN, Timothy “Tim” James
Tim passed away at St. Paul’s Hospital on Wednesday, September 8th, 2021 at the age of 74 after a brief battle with cancer.
Tim is survived by his loving partner Gladys of Saskatoon, brothers Victor (Lesley) Hogan of St. Albert, AB, Mickey Hogan of Saskatoon, sisters Peggy Jackson and Colleen (Ken) Livingstone of Saskatoon. Tim is also survived by many nieces and nephews, numerous friends and the children of the McNeil family.
Tim was predeceased by his parents, Joseph Leo Hogan and Mary Emma Hogan, brothers Leonard and John Hogan, sister Patricia Stock and long-time partner Jeannette NcNeil.
Tim grew up on the family farm south of Biggar, SK. After high school Tim moved to B.C. to take a trade in mechanics.
Tim loved everything about cars. He enjoyed reading up on them and fixing them. He was a gifted mechanic. Tim enjoyed music and dancing and occasionally he would pick up his guitar and sing a country song. Many Saturdays you would find him at the Legion or Army & Navy Club enjoying the jam sessions. Tim enjoyed a good cup of coffee and sharing stories and jokes with family and friends. He was a very kind-hearted, generous man and he will be lovingly missed.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, September 17, 2021 at St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church (3339 Centennial Drive) in Saskatoon. Arrangements in care of Mourning Glory Funeral Services (306) 978-5200.
