Thomas Webster McCrady Sunday August 29th 2021

It is with great sadness that we the family of Thomas Webster McCrady Sr. (aka Uncle Tom) announce his passing at the age of 47 years on Sunday, August 29, 2021, in the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre. Thomas was born on March 23, 1974, in Nipigon, On. Thomas is survived by his children Thomas Jr., MaryAnn, and Josephine also by his stepchildren Jillian, Kenita, Keisha and Frances, whom he took under his wing alongside his longtime friend and mother of his children Monica Donio. His siblings Angus (Georgina), Clarence, Donna, Anna (Phill) and Leon and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins, and in-laws. Tom was predeceased by his mother Mary (nee Thompson) and his father Theron McCrady. Thomas was a very hard worker and was busy all the time. He did many jobs such as ling cutting, firefighting, contract work with hydro, etc. He had a passion for being outdoors, blueberry picking, fishing, and hunting. He was a jack of all trades, anything you needed fixed around the house he was the man to call. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 1, 2021, in the Chapel of Sargent and Son Funeral Home. Cremation will follow. Online condolences may be made at www.sargentandson.com.
