Obituary
In remembrance of Thomas (Tom) Scott Deasey (Dec. 8, 1970 – June 21, 2021), son of Brian Deasey, and predeceased by Carol (nee Fitzgerald). Survived by his three siblings – Rob (Kirsten), Sandy (Rhiad) and Tony (Sylvia) and his nieces and nephews – Graden, Jasper & Pearl and Adam.
Tom graduated high school in Qualicum Beach, as Valedictorian of his class. He went on to study theatre, and will be remembered by the many friends he met through Malaspina College (VIU). He was a truly gifted actor and musician – playing countless lead roles that showcased his many musical talents. He will also be remembered by his ‘family’ and co-workers at the Keg in Naniamo, where he worked for many years, often sporting old lady lipstick on his cheeks or carrying a baby in his arms.
Tom had a big heart and a sensitive soul. He was a caring and gentle person who will be missed by many.
The family will be having a private service.
