Thomas Bruce Johnson
1955-2021
It is with profound sadness and broken hearts
that we announce the passing of Tom Johnson, 66, of Sheffield Mills,
on November 11, 2021 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville.
Tom was a
hard worker who never complained. He liked to be organized, and it
showed. He was so proud of his little red tractor and he and Cathy
would spend hours in the garden planting, weeding and harvesting the
crop. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, having a few
cold ones, camping and their trips to Cuba. He worked at Great Valley
Juices as shipper/receiver and for several farms in the
area.
Tom was a
son of the late George Albert and Kathleen Mary Johnson. Left to mourn
him, is the love of his life, Catherine Martin; her son, Nick, his
children, Jensen and Emma; son, Mark Brown and his fiancé
Janna, their children, Ellie and Tori; daughter, Stephanie and her
husband Stan Confiant, their children, Adalyn and Jaxon; brothers, Bob
(Gloria), Les (Rose Anne), Bill (Sharon), Rick (Cathy), Gordie
(Karen); sisters, Ann (Bill), Kathy (Jim) and Sylvia (Mike); numerous
aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his
parents, brother, Russell and sister,
Rita.
Cremation
has taken place. A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on
Saturday, November 20, 2021 in Elm Grove Cemetery, Steam Mill. Derek
Mumford will lead us in prayer. In accordance with the Nova
Scotia Proof of Full Vaccination Policy, proof of full vaccination
will be required to attend visitations, services and receptions held
in or by the White Family Funeral Home. A gathering will be held at 1750
Maple Ridge Road, Wolfville, immediately following the service. In
lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the charity of
one’s choice. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted
to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services,
