Winklemaier, Theresa “Terry”
after a brief illness, Terry passed away with family by her side at St. Mary’s Hospital on Sunday, October 24, 2021, at the age of 86. Beloved wife of the late George (2014). Loving mother of Lea Anne (Rick), Greg (Vicki), the late Mark (2012), Pat and Tracy (Peter). Proud Nana of Jenny, Landon, Carrie, Kelly (Quentin), Jessie (Justin), Tayler, Paige, Marshall, Mitchell and Amanda and Great-Nana of Brody, Aiden, Chloe, Abbey, Logan, Lillie, Sullivan, Emmerson, Finnigan, Hesstin, and Lux-lea. Predeceased by her sister and six brothers. Mom loved to laugh. She enjoyed cards, watching the Blue Jays, knitting, and socializing with her many friends. She was always there to lend a hand and put a smile on everyone’s face. Many thanks to the staff in Emergency and the 6th Floor at St. Mary’s Hospital for their compassionate care.
Terry’s family will receive relatives and friends from 5:15-8:15 p.m. on Wednesday, October 27, 2021, at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St. Kitchener. Funeral Mass at St. Anthony Daniel RC Church, 29 Midland Dr. on Thursday, October 28, 2021, at 1 p.m. Please note that if you plan to attend the visitation or the mass, masks are mandatory and you must RSVP through the funeral home website or by calling (519) 749-8467. As expressions of sympathy, donations to SickKids Hospital Foundation would be appreciated (cards available at the funeral home).
