Ted was able to remain in the loving comfort of his Port Stanley home for over two years with the assistance of LHIN’s family-managed, personalized care program and Ted’s dedicated team of empathetic caregivers and nurses led by granddaughter Nurse Candace Dawn. Heartfelt gratitude and love to everyone at LHIN and the VON, especially Nurse Tammy, Caregiver Jenn and VON Nurse Jennifer. Old friends and neighbors in his beloved village of Port Stanley provided over 40 years of happiness and joy to Ted. The family is grateful for the thoughtful visits, prayers and support from the community who assisted in fulfilling Ted’s goal; to journey through a life well-lived and well-loved in the comfort of home. It truly takes a village. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Prayers at 8:00 pm.
