HOOGKAMER, THEODOOR “TED” –
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Theodoor “Ted” Hoogkamer on October 8th, 2021 at the age of 67 years.
Beloved Husband of Dawne (nee. Newell) for 44 years. Loving Father of Suzi (Mike Mulder) of Prince Edward County. Proud Opa to Tyler, who adored him to no end. Cherished middle brother to Phillip (Donna) and John. Predeceased by his Mother Doris and Father Jim. Ted will be dearly missed by his loving nieces and nephews, as well as many long term and newly acquired friends.
Ted was a “give you the shirt off his back” kind of man. Many friends and family will have welcomed him with open arms ready to party again. Ted will remain in the hearts and minds of many left here for years to come.
A special thank you to the paramedics, nurses, doctors, and support staff of Lakeridge Health Oshawa.
Friends are invited to call at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME 124 King Street (905-433-4711) on Wednesday October 20th, 2021 from 2:00 – 4:00 PM and 6:00 – 8:00 PM for a Memorial Visitation. REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED TO ATTEND THE VISITATION, please register online through Ted’s webpage at armstrongfh.ca or call 905-433-4711. Masks are mandatory.
