Jay Tevan
August 6th 1961 – July 17th 2021
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Jay Tevan, just shy of his 60th birthday, at age 59. Son of the late Ted Tevan and the late Ellie (Florence) Weldon Tevan. Jay is survived by his sister, Stacey, niece, Ashley and nephew, Tyler and close cousins and friends.
Jay maintained a positive and all around charismatic (sometimes too charismatic) outlook on life, even as he newly learned of his diagnosis with Cancer. Jay went nowhere without a smile, some sass, a sporting fact and a good song. He made up wild words, and nicknames for any and all who crossed his path. He was a character easily remembered, even if only met for a short minute.
Let us always remember his wacky side, and know that “It is all truly wonderful” as he would often say!
A small and intimate memorial will take place at a later date for family and friends.
