SUZANNE MABEL AKINTUNDE (SUMMERS)
Peacefully, at the Ottawa Bruyere Hospital on Wednesday, February 24, 2021, aged 55 years after a short battle with cancer. Beloved wife of Hakeem Akintunde. Beloved daughter of the late Laurie and Mabel (Holmes) Summers. Dear sister of Ernest Summers (Brenda) of Cobourg, Dana Summers of the Philippines, Sylvia Summers of Kanata and Richard Summers of Ottawa. Loved by her six nieces and nephews, Angela, Sarah, Jennifer, Katherine, James and Carrissa. Great-aunt of Sparrow, Ethan, Emalee, Auztin, Alexander, Ariel, Ava, Hailea, Jameson, Strachan and Wrenn. Dear niece of Thelma Williams, Stuart Holmes, Winnie Patterson, Fred Holmes, Betty Faith, Larrie Holmes (deceased), Dwayne Holmes and Richard Holmes. Loved by father-in-law Yekini Akintunde and sister-in-law Helen Akintunde. Dear friend of Charlotte, Frances, Kellianne and Jen. She will be missed by everyone at Happy Face Nursery School. A special thanks to the Ottawa Hospital caregiving staff for the wonderful care given to Suzanne. A Celebration of Life will be hosted at a future date.
