Susie’s Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one at Lakeside Homes, Gander on Thursday, May 20, 2021 Susie Way age 93 years of Musgrave Harbour.
Predeceased by her parents William and Flora Pinsent; husband Gerald; sister Flora; brothers Frank, Bertram, Dolph, Roland, Wilson, Clarence and Clifford.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her daughter Bonnie (Robert) of Musgrave Harbour; son Wallace (Marlene) of Gander; sisters-in-law Blanche Tulk of Bonnews Lodge, Badger’s Quay and Laura Way of Oram’s Bethesda Seniors Home, Gander, grandchildren John Goodyear (Lisa), Tim Goodyear (Tonya), Mark Way (Ashley) and Sheri Kjelland (Stephen); great-grandchildren Megan Goodyear, Ivy Way, Jacob Kjelland and Mason Kjelland; and a large circle of other relatives and friends.
In keeping with Covid-19 recommendations and guidelines, visitation and funeral service will be by invitation only.
Visitation will take place at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Musgrave Harbour on Sunday, May 23, 2021 from 10am to 2:30pm, with funeral service to follow at St. Luke’s United Church, Musgrave Harbour at 3pm with Rev. L. Noseworthy officiating. Interment will follow at the United Church cemetery, Musgrave Harbour.
As an expression of sympathy flowers are gratefully accepted or donations in Susie’s memory may be made to St. Luke’s United Church, Musgrave Harbour.
