Survine Joseph Anthony
Sydney Mines
It is with great sadness that I announce the sudden death of my brother Survine on Monday, December 7, 2020, at the age of 57.
Survine was predeceased by his father Leo “Buck” Anthony in 1980, and his mother Eileen (MacMullin) Anthony in 2020.
He was educated at Acadia University, where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree, and Bachelor of Education Degree, majoring in History. He chose the marine industry to work, and rose to the rank of Mate. He was always willing to teach and help anyone who asked him in his chosen trade.
He is survived by his brother and best friend Mark (Tanya), and Aunt Rose and her husband Bob Clarke. Survine considered Rose a second Mom, and loved her dearly.
A special thanks to cousin Erica and Will for the care and concern for Eileen and Survine during Mom’s lengthy illness.
Erica, I could not have gotten through Survine’s passing without the help and love you gave me. I will always remember the love you showed to the three of us.
Survine was cremated by request, and his remains will be buried this summer next to Mom and Dad in the family plot. Thanks for all the cards and calls of sympathy, and thanks to all of his friends in the valley area for their concern.
Forever missed by Mark and Tanya.
Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Survine Anthony 2021..
