It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Sterling James Loveless of Grand Bank announces his passing. Sterling passed away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin on Saturday, February 20th, 2021, at the age of 67. Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are his wife of 46 years Lavinia; sons, Robbie Loveless (Trelia) of Sooke, BC, Sheldon Loveless (Kristy) of Sooke, BC, Kerby Loveless of Stephenville, NL; sisters, Bev Brooks (Glen), Trudy Loveless (Geoff); brothers, Ford Loveless (Donna), Clifford Loveless (Marlene); brothers in law, Hughie Barter (Marie), Ira Barter (Theresa) , Andrew Fudge, 4 grandchildren, Jack, Kesler, Cassidy, Jacob.; plus a large circle of extended family and friends.
Sterling was predeceased by parents, Clyde and Dorothy Loveless; brothers, Donald Loveless, Hayward Loveless, Tony Loveless, sisters, Claudine , Goldie Loveless; parents in law, Ira and Rachel Barter, sisters in law. Annie and Jenny.,
Cremation has taken place.
The Loveless Family will be accepting visitors at Wiseman’s Funeral Home in Grand Bank on Friday, August 13, 2021 from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm. Due to the current Covid-19 restrictions this will be a walk through visitation with a maximum of 20 people at one time. Everyone is asked to sign the contact tracing sheet upon entering the building and masks are encouraged.
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at 2:00 pm from the Salvation Army Citadel, Grand Bank, NL. Inurnment to follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Grand Bank.
In Sterling’s memory donations may be made to Salvation Army, Grand Bank.
