Stephen Steve Cunningham 2021

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Stephen (Steve) Cunningham on June 2, 2021, at the age of 71. Steve was born in Belfast, N.Ireland on November 7, 1949 to Mary and James Cunningham. He moved to Canada in 1974 where he met Arlie Reed.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Arlie, son Andy (Amber), daughter Julie (John) and grandkids Connor, Chloe, Seamus and Sarah, and brother Jim (Dianne).
He was predeceased by his parents Minnie and Jimmy.
After getting married in 1976, Steve and Arlie had two children, Andy and Julie. In the 80’s, he was a part-owner in a small bicycle shop, Renroh Cycle. Steve was heavily involved with the soccer community within Sherwood Park and Edmonton, founding the Dreadnoughts Soccer Club in 1995. Stainless Steve opened up his own company, Specialized Metal Products, in 2002. In 2009, Steve and Arlie purchased a family condo in Nakusp, BC, where they enjoyed many long weekends, summers and holidays with their family and friends. Steve was always the life of the party and throughout the years, had an open house for anyone in the neighbourhood.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
