Obituary of Srecko DEVCICH
July 15, 1938 – Przunac, Croatia
March 8, 2021– Calgary, Alberta
Srecko Devcich, beloved husband of Milka Devcich of Calgary, AB, passed away on Monday, March 8, 2021 at the age of 82 years.
Srecko owned and operated SD Painting and Decorating. When he wasn’t working he loved spending time outdoors fishing or camping. He also loved to travel back to his homeland Croatia.
He was a dedicated husband, father and grandfather. He will be lovingly remembered for his generosity and his love of family.
Besides his loving wife of fifty-five years, Srecko is survived by his two sons and daughters-in-law, Frank (Coral) and Dave (Tanya) and his grandson Gabriel. He is also survived by his brother Boris and his family of Calgary; two sisters, Zora and her family of Venezuela and Tonka and her family of Croatia, as well as numerous extended family and friends here in Canada and abroad.
Srecko was predeceased by his parents, Matija and Mate Devcic and his brother Mirko Devcic.
A Private Funeral Service will be held on Monday, March 15, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. Condolences, memories and photos may be shared and viewed on Srecko’s obituary at www.McInnisandHolloway.com.
