Obituary of SOPHIE WACHNIAK
November 2, 1922 – November 30, 2021
At 99 years, mom passed away peacefully at the Selkirk Betel Home.
Sophie was pre-deceased by her husband, Nick and daughter Paulette. She leaves son Don (Anne), daughter Darlene (Bob), and son Brian. Granddaughters Kristyn, Christine and Hillary. Grandsons Trevor, Michael; numerous great grandchildren and her extended family. At mom’s request, there will be no funeral service.
Cremation has taken place. The family thanks the nurses, health care aides and all staff at the Betel Home for the care and compassion she received. Special thanks to Dr. ton and Dr. Brown.
