Siegrid Erna Pautsch Wednesday December 29th 2021

Pautsch, Siegrid
Siegrid passed away peacefully at The Village of Winston Park on Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at the age of 80.
Predeceased by her husband Helmut and sister Inge. She leaves behind children Sylvia Veldman (John) and Gord Pautsch (Patti Rueffer) and grandchildren Shanna Veldman (Matt) and Tara Veldman (Tyler) and niece Ulrike Davis. Our mom emigrated to Canada in July 1956 at the age of 14 with her parents and settled in Noranda, Quebec. She married our dad three years later in 1959. Hoping for new opportunities and warmer weather, they moved south to Kitchener in 1964. Mom worked for Woolco and Walmart for many years before retiring and spent many years enjoying the family cottage at Sauble Beach. She loved to travel and spent many winters in Portugal. Mom was always game to try anything new. Our parents were long-time members of the Concordia Club.
Thank you to the wonderful staff at Winston Park for looking after our mom for the last five years. Cremation has taken place.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the MS Society or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
