Clarke, Shirley (née Switzer) – Entered into rest unexpectedly at her home on Sunday, December 26, 2021. Shirley, at the age of 87, was the beloved wife of the late Arnott Clarke. She is survived by her son Bruce (Connie) and predeceased by her children Walter, Roland, and Joan. Loving grandmother of Amanda, James, Bruce, and Connor. Sister of Margaret, and predeceased by siblings Marie, Albert, Jean, Wilbert, Edith and Jim. Shirley will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by her nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Visitation will be held at Celebrations, 35 Lindsay Street North on Tuesday, January 4th from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held the following day at Celebrations at 11:00 a.m. with visitation one hour prior. Interment to follow at Riverside Cemetery, Lindsay. If desired, memorial donations to Autism Speaks would be appreciated by the family.
