Obituary of Sheila Snider
1949-2021
The family of Sheila Snider wish to announce her passing on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at the age of 72 years.
She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Trevor (Meaghan), Tyler (Terri), Travis (Heather), and grandchildren, Joel, Taryn, Lauryn and Landon. Her siblings Joan(late Peter), Jean(Maurice), Linda(late Ken), John, Randy(Donna) and her nieces and nephews. She will also be missed by her friends at the antique shops.
Predeceased by her father Hugh Cameron, mother Emma Payne, step father Douglas Payne and sister Doreen (late Wilfred).
Sheila enjoyed spending time with family and selling her antiques throughout the region. She was a member of the Brethren in Christ Church and Le Centre polyvalent Des Aines Francophone in Port Colborne.
A special thank you to the staff of the Port Colborne Hospital for all your kindness and compassion, and Pastor Brian Lofthouse for his support.
The family will receive friends at ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 179 Clarence Street, Port Colborne on Friday August 13, 2021 from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. A Private Family Service will follow in the Armstrong Chapel. Burial will follow at Overholt Cemetery. (Due to COVID restrictions attendance will be monitored, gathering limits will be enforced and face masks are required.) To view the service from home, a link will be made available Friday at 1 p.m. Please go to YouTube and type into the search bar – Armstrong Funeral Home & Chapel Port Colborne Sheila Snider Funeral Service, and you will be able to view the service.
