Obituary
It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Sharon Laura (VanDenBorre) McIvor which occurred at Bobby’s Hospice on Saturday, June 5th, 2021. Born in Minto, NB, she was the daughter of the late Gustave and Margaret (Spencer). In her earlier years, Sharon worked as a Hairdresser and also taught hairdressing. She worked at RMH for 12 years in customer service and did some homecare before retirement. Sharon was a volunteer and big support to The Knights of Columbus Branch #8364. She enjoyed bowling and loved all sports, especially curling.
Sharon is survived by her loving and devoted husband Ron of 30 years; son Mitchell VanDenBorre (Brandi) of Chipman, NB; daughter Kimberley Kyle (Justin) of Kingston Peninsula; brother Maurice VanDenBorre (Donna) of Minto, NB; sisters Judy Demmons (Herb) of Sypher Cove, NB; Joanne Richard of Saint John; Nadine Taylor (Tom) of Sus, NB; grandchildren Allie, Matt and Lauren; great-grandchildren Eli and Xavier; as well as several nieces, nephews and friends.

Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visitation being held on Wednesday, June 9th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Memorial Service will take place from the Fundy Funeral Home chapel on Thursday, June 10th at 2 p.m. followed by an interment at St. Joseph’s Cemetery. If you wish to attend the service, please RSVP at 646-2424. For those unable to attend, a live-stream link will be added to view the service. Donations in memory of Sharon may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Bobby’s Hospice or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
