Sharon Jean Seward Browne Friday March 19th 2021

SEWARD, Sharon Jean (Browne)
Sharon Seward passed away on March 19, 2021 at the age of 80. She was pre-deceased in December by her beloved husband of 62 years, Bill Seward, and her sweet son Bradley in 1983. Sharon is the cherished mother of Blake (Ann), Roger (Christine) and Dan (Peggy). She was Gramma to Benjamin, Rebecca, Madeline, Danice (Travis), Carolyne, Wade (Sarah), Shane and Kevin (Natalie). G.G. to Lydia, Bridgette and Morgan. Sharon was the eldest child of Hester (Mainse) and Wendell Browne. She is survived by her dear brother Keith (Peggy), steadfast best friend Barb Yorke, and many other close friends. Sharon grew up in Portland, Ontario and was a talented piano player, seamstress, gardener, and quilter. She loved hummingbirds. Sharon was the Clerk-Treasurer of South Elmsley Township for many years. We are grateful for the care she received from the Parkinson’s unit at Toronto Hospital, especially nurse Alex. An enormous amount of gratitude goes out to Sharon’s Care Co-ordinator, Jennifer Spencer; we could not have done these past months without you. And to Sharon’s homecare providers Linda Monaghan, the Sweatergang Company, and Evelyn Sinclair for going above and beyond in providing much love and care to Sharon. Our Mom and Gramma was a wise woman, always there when needed. She was the quietest one in the room who had the most to say. May you rest in peace, Mom.
A Private Family Service will be held at a later date.
