Shamas, Talitha ‘Tillie’

With family by her side, at Strathroy Middle General Hospital on Thursday, April 8, 2021, Mrs. Talitha (Tillie) Shamas, in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late Andrew Shamas (2010). Loving mother of Trevor, of Toronto. Survived and missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and many loving friends. Tillie’s life and unstoppable spirit was rooted in her quiet and gentle faith, lived out through 20 years of volunteer activity at University Hospital and her passion for the simple, God-given wonders of life: birds, flowers and singing, and, in Trevor’s view, being the most amazing mother the world has ever seen. Cremation has taken place. A private memorial service will take place at Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Friday, April 16th at 2:00 p.m., with visitation one hour prior.
