Selby T. Rideout
1936-2021
Selby T. Rideout passed peacefully away with his family by
his side at the Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Centre, Twillingate, on
Sunday January 10, 2021 at the age of 84.
He was predeceased by: parents William and Eunice; wife
Anniebelle; brothers: George (Marie), Wilfred, Hayward; and
sister-in-law Mona.
Selby leaves with many loving and treasured memories:
daughters; Thelma (Everett) Stuckey, Patsy (Ted) Roberts and Donna
(Brian) Pelley, grandchildren: Michael, Courtney (Mark), Casey
(Trista) and Bradley (Noel); great-grandchildren Felicity, Carter,
Fenley, Isla and Owen; brothers: Melvin (Bernice), Leslie and Sidney;
sister Geraldine (Don) Bellows; sisters-in-law: Gladys and Marjorie;
as well as a large circle of other nephews, nieces, extended relatives
and friends.
In light of the current Covid-19 pandemic, the health and
safety of our families and our community continues to be our highest
priority, at this time a private funeral service will be held on
Wednesday for invited guests. Donations may be given in
Selby’s honour to the family for the S.P.C.A. or the Snow
Dogs of Newfoundland.
