Scott’s Obituary
Passed away on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at the Lewisporte Health Center, Lewisporte, NL, Mr. Scott Edward Hynes, age 81 years.
He was predeceased by his parents, William and Maggie Hynes; son, Brian Hynes; grandson, Lucas Porter; step-mother, Maude Hynes; siblings, Mabel (Ralph Reid), Wilbert Hynes, Pearl Hynes, Clyde Hynes and Shirley (Gord Johnston). Left to mourn his passing with fond and loving memories are his wife, Betty; daughter, Wanda (Edward Pelley); son, Randy Hynes; grandchildren, Justin (Brittany), Chantelle and Taylor; great-grandchildren, Kian, Kole and Kaylee; brother, Melvin (Josephine) Hynes; sisters-in-law, Rhoda Hynes and Marjorie (Wendell Head) and a large circle of other relatives and friends.
Public visitation will take place from Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, 262 Main Street, Lewisporte on Saturday, February 6th from 1-4 PM following COVID government regulations. The Funeral Service will take place from St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Lewisporte on Sunday, February 7th at 4 PM for invited guests only.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Lewisporte Fire Rescue will be gratefully accepted.
