Sandra Poulin
It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of our beloved wife and mother, Sandra Poulin, at her residence on Tuesday March 30th, 2021 at the age of 60 years. Cherished daughter of the late Robert and Irene Morton and daughter-in-law of Georgina Poulin (the late Jean Roch Poulin). Beloved wife and best friend of Mike. Loving and proud mother of Lauren, and Scott (Brianna). Dear sister of Steven Morton and his wife Corinne, and Gary Morton and his wife Kelly. Dear sister-in-law of Peter (Heather) Poulin and family and Lynn Monteiro and family. She is also survived by two Godsons and their families.
Sandra was an
avid reader, loved sunny travel destinations, and relaxed best while swimming
at the beach. She was a kind mother who took part in every event her children
had; making sure to support them during sports events, music practices or high
school and university award ceremonies. She loved tending to her flowers at
home, and she loved our old cat Max… as long as he stayed out of her flower
gardens and pots. A great jokester and prankster, she loved getting a good
laugh as much as giving one and she could always pull out a joke to keep the
crowd going. She took great pride in
working as a Nurse and Medical Adjudicator for the Government of Canada and had
a lot of really wonderful connections and friends through her work.
Family friends
and loved ones will miss her dearly, she was an incredible addition to anyone’s
lives. Cremation has taken place.
A family memorial service for Sandra will be streamed live from the funeral home on Saturday July 24th, 2021, at 1:00 pm with Rev. Sharon Campbell-Rayment officiating. All attendees as mandated by the Bereavement Authority of Ontario must wear a mask at all visitations and funerals. Friends planning an expression of remembrance are asked to consider the SickKids Foundation and Diabetes Canada which would be greatly appreciated.
