WALTON, Margaret Cecile “Sally”
Sally Walton died peacefully, with family by her side, on Thursday, December 23, 2021 at Eastholme, Powassan. She was 91 years old. Sally was predeceased by her husband Clair Walton (1928-1999). She was the beloved mother of the late William “Bill” Walton, Carol VanSickle (Brian) of Nipissing, Ontario, Michele Hamilton (Scott) of Paris, Ontario, Joanne Walton (John) of North Rustico, PEI and Michael Walton (Marian) of Paris, Ontario. She was the much-loved grandmother of nine: Jason, Mia, Lee, Derek, Amy, Sean, Keelin, Ben and Brock and lovingly remembered by many great-grandchildren. Sally was the dear sister of Simone Pantilla and was predeceased by her siblings Gerald, Mary Jane, Albert, Teresa, Donat, Donald and Helene LaPorte. Sally worked for many years in the hotel business. She was a long-time member of the Paris Curling Club and was a skip for many years. Cremation has taken place.
