Passed away surrounded by family on Thursday, October 28th, 2021 at The John M. Parrott Centre, Napanee. Beloved wife of the late John Speed. Loving mother of Laurie (John) Stoneburgh and Phil (Joanna) Speed, grandmother of Adam (Gina), Jessica, and Alicia. Sister of Alison Jefferies, Jane Scott (Jim), Eric Thomas, late Tim Thomas (Paul Benoit), late Geoffrey Thomas, and Margaret Thompson (Bert). Fondly remembered by her extended family including nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Predeceased by parents Ernest Thomas and Betty Gauntlett.
The family will receive friends at the Wartman Funeral Home – Napanee Chapel on Wednesday, Nov. 3, 2021 from 12pm – 1pm ( no RSVP required). Service of Remembrance to follow in the Chapel at 1 pm (Attendance is limited for the funeral service, please RSVP online under the service details using the blue RSVP button, you may also call the funeral home to book a time: 613-354-3722 or by email: info@wfhs.ca. As per provincial health regulations masks and social distancing are mandatory). Interment Riverview Cemetery.
