Obituary of Roy Huckle
HUCKLE: Roy John –
A resident of Chatham, Roy Huckle passed away at Lambton Meadowview Villa, Petrolia on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at the age of 83.
Born in Chatham, Roy was the son of the late John and Delina (Barnier) Huckle.
Beloved husband of 18 1/2 years to Shirlene (nee Willie).
Loving father to Sandra Dickinson (Tim), Debbie Raes (Randy) and the late Michael Huckle.
Proud Grandpa of Patience, Jamie, Stephanie, Christopher and Brandon.
Roy will be missed by his great-grandchildren.
Brother to David Huckle and Betty Jean Horton. Predeceased by his siblings Clayton Huckle and Dorothy Huckle.
Also missed by nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.
Roy loved travelling and camping across North America with his wife, Shirlene.
Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Monday, March 29, 2021 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. Those hoping to attend the visitation are required to register online at ( signup.com/go/FQGZyWr )
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Church, 145 Victoria Ave, Chatham at 11:00am on Tuesday, March 30, 2021. Those hoping to attend the Mass are required to register online at ( signup.com/go/jJycVSO ). You can also register for either event by phoning the Funeral Home at 519-351-2040. The Mass will be live-streamed at ( www.youtube.com/channel/UCSkkWoTnna-FQaUPvTRSP0g/featured ). Interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Blenheim.
