Passed away peacefully at Orchardview on the Mississippi on Sunday, April 11, 2021. Roy is survived by his wife of 65 years Belle; children Wanda (George) Chaisson, Wendy Floyd, Wynne Floyd, all of Carleton Place, Wayne (Michelle) Floyd of Sudbury; granddaughter Larissa (Adam) Dowdall of Carleton Place. Predeceased by infant son Warren; step-son Kevin, and his parents. Roy was a loving husband and wonderful father. He served in the Korean war and was a proud member of the Canadian Armed Forces. Roy was also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #192. Private family arrangements have been entrusted to Alan R. Barker Funeral Home, Carleton Place. Donations in Roy’s memory to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
