Peacefully, surrounded by loving family, on Sunday August 15, 2021, at Vision Nursing Home, Roxie passed away at the age of 79 after a courageous battle with Alzheimer’s. She will be sadly missed by her loving family and friends.
Dear wife of Charles (d.2006). Cherished mother to Penny (Bruce) Causley, Susan Curran, Terri (Alex) Andriash and Kelly (Ron) Stephens.
Greatly loved Gramma to Brooke (David), Meighan (Russ), Joel (Jessica), Josh, Kelsey (Dustin), Bailey, Tayler and Presley.
Treasured Great Gramma to Brennen, Kennady, Ryland, Brinley, Matthew, Tucker, and Kinsleigh.
Sister in law to Wilma Magill and Gilbert and Carol Jean and many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her parents Harold and Donedin Magill, brother Donald Magill and sister Linda (Gary) Middleton.
Best friend to furry family members Sydney and Shelby.
Roxie loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed nothing more than a large gathering with her family including everyone’s favourite foods. She made sure everyone was fed and made to feel special. She loved to make all occasions special for each person. Roxy was her grandchildren’s biggest cheerleader. She never missed an event.
Thank you to the team at Vision Nursing Home, Huron, who provided so much love and support to our Mother while in their care.
Cremation has taken place. In lieu of monetary donations, Roxie would have loved for anyone who knew her to enjoy a good meal and spend some time with your loved ones.
Gone, never forgotten.
