Obituary of Rosemary Patricia Blais
Rosemary “Rowie” Blais
Sadly, our sister “Rowie” passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday morning, August 22nd. Rosemary had been bravely fighting a number of health issues throughout her life and fought the good fight to the end. She was a resident of London, but loved everywhere she went spending holiday celebrations with her brothers or sister around Quebec and Ontario. She was always the “life of the party”!
She will be sadly missed by her family including her big brothers George and Chris, her younger sister Patti, and her two younger brothers Doug and D’Arcy. Her beautiful nieces and nephews of whom she was so proud will miss her “Joy For Life Fun” that she brought to everything and they include Thierry, Anne, Matt, D’Arcy, Genevieve, Derek and Sarah! She will also be held dear by her great-nieces and nephew Daphne, Megan, Olivia and Jacob. Her beloved companion Seren is with her good friend Richard and she will wait to take her “puppy” for walks again one day. Her many business accomplishments including the establishment of the D’Arcy Lane Institute in London and her ground-breaking work in equine therapy will be remembered and appreciated.
She would have wanted us to thank her dear friends including Joanne, Vicky, Teresa, Ted and Richard for their love and friendship over the years.
Rowie is predeceased by her mother and father, Patti-Jane and George Blais, and her grandparents Doug and D’Arcy (Lane) Pocock and Theodule and Mary Blais, all of whom she loved dearly and commented on looking forward to seeing them again one day. Rowie, we look forward to seeing you again one day too….we love you.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Rosemary
