Rose’s Obituary
At 83 years young, it is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Rose Marie Rupert, who passed away peacefully on January 30, 2021 in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. Born on April 11, 1937, in Liverpool, NS, Rose is survived by her brother Curtis Rupert and five children Ann Marie Beals, Christine Louise Beals, Roger James Beals, Ronald Andrew Beals and Tammy Lee Beals, as well as 17 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her son Kenneth Curtis Beals (d/o/d 1986-10-26).
Rose was an avid volunteer throughout her life. Having lived in Montreal, Quebec for close to 30 years, she volunteered in such places as the Douglas Hospital and for advocacy programs such as Project Genesis, as well as many elderly homes in which she received several certificates of appreciation for her volunteer activities. She also volunteered at the Dartmouth Senior Citizens Service Centre where her activities included Meals on Wheels, telephone volunteer, and bingo associate. May she rest in peace. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to The Alzheimer’s Society of Nova Scotia or a charity of your choice.
