Obituary of Ron Strong
Ron Strong, suddenly, on Friday, November 26th, 2021 of Owen Sound, at the age of 91 years. Dearly loved husband of Florence Strong (née Pilon). Loving father of Joeann Buttineau (Ray), of Owen Sound. Sadly missed by his grandchildren, Tina, Dennis, Ray (Kimberley); his great-grandchildren, Katie and Zachary and many nieces and nephews. Dear brother of Almer of Havelock and John Strong of Brampton. Predeceased by his parents Clifton and Mabel Strong; his brothers, Russ (Diane), Ken, Gary (Vrenia) and his sister-in-law Beth Strong. Ron was a merchant marine during WWII, a sailor on the great lakes for many years and a member of the Masonic Lodge. Cremation has taken place.
