In Loving Memory of Ronald “Ron” Clarence St. Thomas
(Lifelong resident of Bobcaygeon)
Passed away peacefully at the Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at the age of 86.
Beloved husband of Donna (nee Harvey) for 62 years. Loving father of Lynn (Joe), Lorna (Cliff), Jeff, Laurie, Lisa (Darrell) and predeceased by his daughter Francis. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Bob (Avril), Matt, Amanda (Harley), Eddy (Elyse), Lila, Colton (Rachel), Kane (Gracie), Saayd (Sage), Tori (Iain) and by his great grandchildren Kaleb and Emma. Predeceased by his parents Ken and Aileen St. Thomas, and by his sister and brother-in-law Janet and Ralph Purdy. Greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Ron was a licensed auto mechanic and worked for Harry Van Oudenaren’s Garage, was an avid snowmobiler and an active volunteer with the Twin Mountain Snowmobile Club, loved the outdoors and hunting, all before his health issues wouldn’t allow him to.
In keeping with Ron’s wishes, cremation has taken place and due to the covid-19 restrictions a celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
Memorial Donations to the Diabetes Association or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family and can be arranged through the Gordon A. Monk Funeral Home Ltd., P.O. Box 427, Minden, Ontario K0M 2K0.
