RONALD JOHN LOGAN
May 2, 1954 – February 14, 2021
Ronald John Logan was born in Wetaskiwin May 2, 1954. He grew up on a farm by Bittern Lake. He attended Gwynne School, went to Clear Vista for grade 9, then Wetaskiwin Composite High School. In 1974 he earned his journeyman ticket at NAIT – that lead to the achievement of receiving his Red Seal. He finally retired in 2018.
Ron married the love of his life – Connie, on August 10, 1974. They resided in Edmonton for a few years before moving to Bittern Lake. As their family grew they decided it was time to build. Ron spent his evenings and weekends building their family home. Ron and Connie raised their four children and currently still reside in the house Ron built.
Ron is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Connie; daughters, Rhonda, Hollie (Trevor), and Emily; his son, John (Laura) and his six grandchildren, Brandon, Nathan, Carver, Abby, Bailey and Jack; his father, Clarence Logan; sisters, Patsy (Gary), Lynne, Sharon (Darrell) and Kathy; brothers, Bobby (Jesse), Tom (Diane) and Glen, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and many friends who Ron considered family. He was predeceased by his mother, Verna Logan; father-in-law, Bill Kohut and his nephews, Ryan Babichuk and Curtis Fries.
A private memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. and the service will be livestreamed here.
