1939-2021
It is with
great sadness the family of Ron Livingstone announces his passing at
home on Sunday, January 17, 2021, surrounded by his loved ones. Born
in Little Sands, December 6, 1939 Ron is survived by his devoted wife
of 56 years, Joanie (Campbell) Livingstone; their children Marilee
Dawn Ingalls (Charlie), Stanley Livingstone and Lorena Anne Dunne
(Michael); sisters Joyce Kennedy and Velda Wurts (Stephen); cherished
grandchildren MacKayla (Jack), Cameron, Neleigha and Campbell;
sisters/brothers-in-law Carole (Clifford), Judy (George), Sadie
(Kenny, deceased), Dianne (Alvin, deceased), Darlene (Lynn), Ronnie
(Beth), Kathy (Wally) and Gail (David); numerous nieces,
nephews and extended family and friends. Predeceased by his loving
parents, Stanley and Nella and Little Brudder
Wayde.
Ron was a loving husband,
father, grandfather, brother, brother-in-law and uncle. He was
described by a close family friend as a kind, easy going, soft spoken,
even tempered, gentle, caring family man who will be greatly missed
and remembered by his loving family, church family, brothers of the
Fire Department and many great friends.
Private family
visiting to take place. Due to Covid restrictions there will be a
private funeral service at Hillcrest United Church and private burial
at Little Sands Cemetery on Friday, January 22nd, 2021. Funeral
services will be live streamed at 2pm on the Hillcrest United Church
website at www.hillcrestunitedchurch.ca Ferguson Logan Funeral Home
has been entrusted with the arrangements. Online condolences may be
made on the Funeral Home website at www.fergusonlogan.com. Donations
to the Education Fund for the grandchildren may be made through Joanie
Livingstone.
