It is with great memories full of love that we say goodbye to our beloved dad, who died peacefully, at the age of 89, after a long life of hard work, love and support. He was a proud and devoted husband, father, grandfather & great grandfather.
He was predeceased by the love of his life, Edith Maria (nee Rittammer) in 2016, and five of his seven younger siblings.
He is survived by his children Robert, Sabrina, Roberta & Bently, five grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
Bob worked hard to provide for his family but still managed to spend time with them and share his good humor and positive life outlook. He took good care of Edith as she struggled with MS for decades and loved to read. His quiet demeanor and laid back view of life was a good example to those around him.
Due to Covid-19, a private service will be held, and a celebration of his life may be planned for a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the MS Society or Alberta and NWT Alzheimer Society.
