Obituary of Roger Dale Richert
With a heavy heart, we announce the passing of Roger Dale Richert “Rick” on Monday, January 25, 2021.
Rick was born on January 28, 1947, in Coaticook, Quebec. After high school graduation, Rick joined the military and served a couple of years in the Artillery in Gagetown, New Brunswick. Then, he settled in Winnipeg, Manitoba, where he lived for 28 years and raised his family. Later in life, Rick moved to Regina and lived in the area for 20+ years.
Rick was predeceased by his daughter Corina Mary; his mother Iris (Benoit) Richert and his father Albert Richert.
Rick is survived by his partner Sandra Deis; son Trevor Richert; daughter Tracy (Richert) Manton (Gordon); their mother Anita; and grandchildren Colton, Avery, Jenna, Brooke, Abbey, Paityn, and Maya. As well as aunt Ann; brother Ken(Dorothy), sister Judy (Renault); and numerous nieces and nephews and his closest childhood friend Gerry Cutting.
We want to thank the fantastic staff at the Pasqua hospital, especially the nurses on 4D. You were so kind and thoughtful, and we much appreciated you.
