Robert George Wilson
October 08, 1951 – April 16, 2021

Ramblin’ man Robert George Wilson came to the end of his journey on April 16th, 2021, at 69 years. For decades Bobby was a well-known character in the Halifax community with friends and acquaintances on the street and at the agencies he frequented for supports. A runner in his early years, Bobby never stopped clocking hundreds of miles on his feet. He loved fishing and watching hockey, and preferred sleeping in the great outdoors under the trees. Despite his struggles Bobby was a kind, gentle and generous soul, a storyteller with a good sense of humour. He will be greatly missed by friends and staff at Herring Cove Apartments and the MOSH team. Born October 8 1951, his parents were George and Gertrude Wilson, survived by brothers, Jim ( Sackville ), Edward ( Hammonds Plains ), John (Windsor ); sisters Deborah ( Hammonds Plains ) and Diane (deceased ) and Aunt Vivian (Sackville). Burial will take place Saturday April 24 at 1:00 PM at Sunrise Park Cemetery, 2025 Prospect Road, Hatchet Lake.
