Robert’s Obituary
Boyce, Robert A. – 69, Springhill passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2021 in All Saints Hospital, Springhill. Born in Springhill, he was a son of the late Harold and Catherine (Harroun) Boyce. Robert worked for many years at the former Robb Engineering, Amherst and eventually with Seagull Pewter, Pugwash where he retired from. In Robert’s younger days he was a great skater and spent countless hours at the rink. He enjoyed playing darts and being outdoors hunting and fishing. Robert especially loved his time spent with his family and friends and was very proud to be a lifelong Springhiller, having lived in Springhill his entire life. Survived by daughter, Roberta (Roy) McMasters; son, David Boyce; grandchildren, Cailin and Dylin Boyce; brother, Harold; sisters, Linda (Ben) Thompson and Bonnie (Brian) MacDonald. Predeceased by brothers, Jack and Donald; sisters, Joyce, Helen, Patsy Ann and Diana. Arrangements are in the care of MacDiarmid’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Oxford.
