It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Robert Barber on Thursday, December 2nd, 2021 at the age of 67.
He was the son of the Late Alexander and Doreen Barber. Husband of the Late Marion Barber. Father of Audrey (Siegfried), Cedric (Ashley), Judith (William). Grandfather of Aurora, Addison, Milo and Lorelai, Brother of Catherine Lobo, Joyce Barber, Herbert Barber, Oliver Barber and John Barber.
Robert loved to cook, share and enjoy his beautiful views on the Grand River.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 7th, 2021 at 11 a.m. at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church, 21 Ottawa St. S., Cayuga, Ontario, followed by interment at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery in Ancaster, Ontario.
Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him.
All are welcome — with covid-19 and provincial mandates all guests will be required to bring and wear a mask. All guests will also be required to sign a contact tracing sheet. Vaccine passports are not required. Please keep in mind there is a maximum capacity of 55 people for the Funeral Mass. All are welcome at the cemetery for the interment. A Reception will following at Judith’s residence in Cayuga.
