Rina grew up during WWII, with stories of soldiers marching, and bombs falling. She came to Canada in 1958, married Aldo, and worked to build a life together. She gave birth to Robert in 1964. She entertained many, over the years, with songs, plays, and writings. Granddaughters, Grace and Elaine always looked forward to Nonna’s Sunday dinners. She lived independently, until the near end.

Our sincere condolences to Rina’s family Robert, Lynda, Grace & Elaine.
I enjoyed working with Rina on her book of poems, FROM FRIULI, in 2011-15.
She was very creative and wrote original poems in the Friulan language.
Rina’s writing is a valuable contribution and legacy for Italian-Canadian literature.
Rest in peace, dear Rina.
