Obituary of Richard Michael Colangelo
COLANGELO, Richard Michael – passed away at the St. Catharines General Hospital on Friday July 23, 2021 at the age of 67 years. Richard is survived by his beloved wife Karen of 50 years, loving son Richard Jr. (Stephanie), cherished grandsons Alexander and Sebastian, also survived by his sisters Angela Laura Silli (Robert), Theresa Severin (Brent) and Sylvia Sardella (Mario). Predeceased by his parents Arthur and Helen Colangelo, brothers Frank, John and Andrew Colangelo. Richard was a sports fan and enjoyed watching his grandsons play hockey and baseball. Richard was an active member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #4 in Welland and was an avid billiards player representing the Welland Legion across Ontario. As a hockey fan, the Chicago Blackhawks were his team. Cremation has taken place. Family and friends are invited to visit DAVIDSON FUNERAL HOME 135 Clarence St. Port Colborne on Saturday July 31, 2021 from 2-4 p.m. Masks and social distancing required. A private interment will be held at a later date in Morgan’s Point Cemetery. If so desired, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
